Thank you for your interest in the Jack Meagher Institute of Sports Therapy Six Day Intensive in Equine Sportsmassage. Jack Meagher is the founder of the logic and technique of sportsmassage for humans and horses. His pioneering work has paved the way for the acceptance of massage therapy throughout the world. As well as authoring the classic book, Sportsmassage, with Pat Boughton, and Beating Muscle Injuries for Horses, the bible of equine massage, Jack was the first to elevate equine massage to the international level by serving the US Equestrian Team at the 1976 Montreal Olympics as well as numerous World Championships. This program is being facilitated by certified massage therapist Robert Altman long term student of Jack Meagher. Robert is one of only two professionals authorized by Jack to teach the Meagher Method of Sportsmassage and Muscular Kinetics for horses. This program is a continuing education seminar open to certified massage and physical therapists. We are able to grant 25 CEU's for national certification for MsT's at this time.
